+ last weekend i road-tripped with Sara to C-ville to move my stuff into the new apt. i got everything arranged the way i want and now i'm totally stoked about moving in for good!
- parents and i have been at each others' throats (more so than usual) lately. but mom and i had a (slightly) constructive chat today about the tension between us. hope i made progress, think i did...at least enough to get me through the weekend
+ i'm really pleased about my recent addiction to my "Electric Ladyland" album
- i've gained so much weight this summer
+ i'm getting promoted to Supervisor at Mem Gym when school begins, so i'm gonna use those extra hours to force myself back into shape. i say it every year. occasionally i'm serious...but only for short spats of time. this year i'm not gonna pussyfoot around (...had to drop that word). i'm gonna slim down and tone up. my health is shot to shit. time for a change
- i miss Samuel. seeing him last weekend was exactly what i needed, but left me wanting more

+ he and Sara liked each other a lot. i'm so glad they finally got to meet. as of now, he has officially met all of my favorite people, with the exception of Meg. best for last!
+ speaking of, Meg is gonna fly into Cville for a long weekend! FUCK.YEA.
+ we also decided to go backpacking through Mexico after graduation in May. seriously. can you say soul mate? i can. here i go: Meg McDermott.
+ went and saw the Cards (lose to) the Nats with Cami. the game was a disappointment, but the company made it worth the while. i fuckin love her
- they hired a new girl at work that i had to train on monday. her voice drives me up the wall and she's really unprofessional. she'll talk loudly (about inappropriate things) in an office setting. it's embarrassing.
- can't decide what to do with my hair (cut and/or color) when i get back to school. any suggestions are welcome and strongly encouraged, for i am at a loss.
+ thanks to this 2-week job, i'll have the $ i need to not only do Beach Week, but also meet Meg in New Orleans for Mardi Gras! we did it together our freshman year and now we'll go full circle with a 4th year fiesta
+ bonus: we'll get to stay with my Austin! otra vez, FUCK YEA. i met with him at Amphora for breakfast a few weeks ago. my ribs still hurt from laughing. i love that lanky bastard =)
+ i'm re-reading The Great Gatsby and am enjoying my 2nd go around more than i did the 1st
