(no subject)
ok, just a quick note before i head out to fencing practice. i've had all of my classes once. here's the skinny: japanese, as usual, is going to ream me. maybe not every day, but certainly every other day at least. french... well, it'll be a bit challenging because i don't get to speak enough french at once per week to really start getting better, so it's just... i don't know, working back to my previous standard. linguistics hasn't had enough time for me to form an opinion, but it sounds really really interesting. the professor does have a weird lump on the back of his neck, though. he should get that checked out. and then, poetry. of the 16 students in my class, 14 are women, the other male is almost assuredly gay. it seems like maybe a fair amount of the women in the class are lesbians, and maybe feminazis, and also very very artsy. as in, 'i just had a period where i couldn't write on lined paper, because i couldn't organize my thoughts like that.' that kind of artsy. and the professor is a little bit hippie ish. we'll see, i guess, but i'm not particularly looking forward to it. anyways, i gotta go work, i'll post back here later. oh, and i'm considering a move to friends only, so if you want to read, get your 'i'm your friend scott so let me read this' business on.
