Engagement Anniversary
One year ago, Jim and I were cooking ham steak with cinnamon apples and raisins while listening to the Steelers' game in the background. As I prepared the apples, I thought about how I first told Jim about my feelings for him one and a half years ago. I was sitting on my bed in my one bedroom apartment in Japan. He was at Joe's house in Maryland. On October 5th 2008 Jim stepped away from the stove and said "We make such wonderful things together." We kissed. "And we always will." And he got down on one knee :)
