I had a pretty entertaining conversation with my mother earlier:
O Jr.: "blah blah...and Anton and I lost my damn house keys -"
O Sr.: "Oh my god, you lost your keys, you know you guys are really starting to drive me crazy every five minutes it's always SOMETHING"
O Jr.: "Hey, I'm sorry about the keys. I'll find them. But um, what else do we do to piss you off?"
O Sr.: "Well, it's always something! You lose your keys, this, and that, and the other...sigh sigh sigh"
O Jr.: "I know, we went over the part about the keys already..."
O Sr.: "...I'm going to start writing them down!"
At this point I start to laugh at her because even though she's convinced we (well, mostly me) constantly do something wrong, she cannot for the life of her think of anything else but the damn keys. And she gets frustrated because she knows she's in the hole, but can't accept backing down. Can you guess where I get my stubborn nature from?
All mothers, or more generally all women wake up sometimes and they're just in the mood to bitch. And this is all the more irritating to them when one one of those days, no one happens to actually be doing anything wrong. God! What do you do then?
What she does is wander into my room, and if it's dirty it's obvious what happens, BUT if it is spotlessly clean as it occasionally is, then she'll find an excuse to come in and look around the room for a second approximately every half an hour until I accidentally drop a piece of paper on the floor and forget about. And then she POUNCES! And tells me I'm messy.
That shit makes me laugh so hard :]
I have the feeling it's going to be an extremely boring and lazy Wednesday night. Maybe I should clean...
