Back to the Greek trip, and onward to Kuşadası! This is another port town on the "Turkish Riviera"; it looked a lot like Bodrum. Unlike Bodrum, it had no major sights of its own, though it did have a picturesque castle in its harbor. O precious and sanctified blog! Once more, my corporate overlords have blocked my access to thee, after the blessed amnesty of a year or so. Were it not for this interference, I probably wouldn't still have stray memories of our August trip to Greece and Turkey to jot down. So, onward to other cool things about ancient Athens. I've never studied Greek (ancient or modern), nor Turkish, it should go without saying. But any time you travel to a foreign country, you're bound to bring back at least a few words as souvenirs.
