please be informed that SPORT IS NOT NEWS. if you have free time, why don't you do something useful like:
-tell us some more news
(my personal favourite)-give the public some airtime - especially the bbc; we do pay for it, afterall
-talk about kittens
-discuss a current issue in more detail
-ANYTHING that isn't telling us how many times some overpaid twat in a shiny shirt kicked a ball into a net (and other sporting variations thereof)
i mean, it's not like they discuss other people's interests on the news. what about films? art? literature? music? they manage to find time to have the latest dancer booted off 'strictly come dancing' on for a chat at 9am - again, not news - it annoys me deeply. i am perhaps biased, since i do only watch bbc news, but that's only because other news sources, like murdochvision fox news,
make my eyes and ears bleed.
you just can't win.
