Ashen Stars - A New set of Characters
We're taking a short break from our Mortal Coil game to do a one-shot Ashen Stars adventure. Last night was the character generation session, which already was a lot of fun. We've got another colourful crew, with two players sticking to their chars from "The Witness of my worth". For three others it's their first AS game.
Kodik is the Tavak Stratco and Chopper. A highly decorated veteran from the Mohilar war, he stuck with the crew of the "Jolly Jumper" when the Combine retreated from the Bleed.
Speedoflight is the Cybe Pilot and Bagger. It is well on her way to fusing with the ship it was designed to fly during the War.
Mitu the Durugh serves as Hailer and Mapper, trying to prove that his race is a worthwhile addition to the Combine.
The post of Wrench and Face is taken by Ero the Balla, who worked on a Mohilar related project during the war - of which he can remember nothing now.
Finally there is Amadeus Luther King, the Vas Mal gunner and Techo. He's antisocial, but convinced the secret will be found onboard the "Jolly Jumper".
The alien races are very popular, a you can see there's not a single human among the crew. If I have one peeve it's that character generation takes pretty long, but then we did go through ask the options this time.
