On a side note, Garth Brooks is playing in LA at some point soon - but tickets are sold out and he's been "retired" for about 7 years. I don't know about other genres of music - but Country fans are pretty zealous about our artists.

On that note, I suppose I should post mine since I finally settled on ten. I tried to do artist from a bunch of different genres.

I pretty much only listen to Country. So I could follow the rule of the songs had to be released this year.

I'm a Country/Big Band/Classic Rock/50's music girl.

Some 80's music is ok. But the hair and spandex scares me.

The artists that I put on my list were simply ones that I liked that had put out songs this year. It had nothing to do with whether or not they were popular.
