When Xena pulls Gabrielle up from the water to give her mouth-to-mouth.

Parts of this scene (though I do love it), were just a tad too overdone for me and sort of pulled me out of the moment (I'm nitpicking here, I do love it), but what I do adore every time, is Gabrielle blowing the water in her face. It was just SO perfectly timed, and SO much water.:D:D:D It's always just a tad worse than I remembered it. Fabulous.

Totally agree on every level with "Ides of March", but you already know that if you read mine.:)

Although I'm curious, why is the moment Illusia!Xena kills Illusia!Gabrielle a favorite moment of yours?

It is such an angst-ridden moment and Xena's momentary glee slides off so quickly... it is a perfectly done scene, because that is what Xena wanted to do to Gabrielle - and yet, it is the last thing she ever wanted to do.

Definitely my fave moments there... it is hard to pick 5 though. "Fins, Femmes and Gems" is, by far, my favorite humor episode. Gabrielle's self-absorption and her language cracks me up. "Hey, I LET you save me!" *Le sigh* However, my memory is shaky; do you know the name of the episode for your favorite moment #2? I can see that scene so clearly in my mind (hell, how could you NOT after watching it just once?) but can't remember the name of the episode.
