And yeah, that's... what it looks like! Here, I dunno how well you can see it, but... [She aims her gear out into the pouring rain, at that little black figure hunched up next to a trash can. Sure enough, it looks like a little dog with plates on it that resemble bones.] Geez, poor thing. Where's my umbrella?
Yeah, if nothing else I can get it in outta that rain!
[Chie snaps her umbrella open and tucks the gear under her arm, venturing out into that torrent. Enjoy this view of her armpit as she crosses the street and kneels near the Houndour.] Hey there, little guy. You okay?
I'll get it back into the Pokémon center. Those nurses definitely know what they're doing. [Her voice softens as she speaks to the puppy.] C'mere, I won't hurt you... It's okay...
Yeah, they really -- gotcha! Come here, we need to -- geez, you're freezing! [It takes Chie a minute to juggle gear, puppy, and umbrella, and another couple minutes to get back into the Pokécenter. Soon her Hitmonlee takes the gear again and kindly shows her toweling the Houndour off.]
Oh, geez, is he? Good thing I brought him in, then, all that water can't be good for him.
[The Houndour pops his head out from under the towel, blinking up at Chie for a moment. It then proceeds to curl up against her lap with a quiet whine.] Wow, he's warm! Even after being out in that rain... He must be Fire-type after all.
And did you say a .....skull puppy?

[It's a puppy. And it's little. And it's shivering. OH THE CUTENESS.] Do you know what its called?

Houndour, it says. Dark and Fire? "It is smart enough to hunt in packs. It uses a variety of cries for communicating with others."

[It nods after the second question, but then its ears droop and it buries its head in her lap again.] Oof... That doesn't look good.

That's terrible. I wonder if they were abandoned, or if their trainer went home?
