[Clover woke up in the middle of the night, her throat parched. She drew her blanket close to her and tried not to disturb the Vulpix and the Eevee sharing her bed. She smiled slightly; Ares was becoming sort of like an uncle to Pixie. Maybe even a big brother...
She bows her head. How long had it been since Snake left? Clover knew that sooner or later, she would join him, but at the same time, she felt terrible thinking of leaving the two boys she was traveling with. Johto was nice, yes, but it had torn her away from the person who meant so much to her, and from her real home.
After sitting up, she finally wriggles out of the blanket and puts on her pink fluffy slippers. Silently she steps out of her room, and heads for the kitchen, where she sees Ken looking at the moon.]
Hey.
[She'll stop before she adds, "It's late" or anything like that, at least.]
