Fifth Shave: [Video]

[Today on Tiny Quagsire theater we have a really unpleasantly jumpy picture. There's glimpses of a Quagsire, a pack being dragged along on the ground and some trees and sky, all pretty haphazardly for at least ten minutes

[ The pinkette quirks a brow at her gear, hearing the Quagsire speak. She looks closely at the screen, wondering what's going on. Hold on... ]

Hey, what are you--What happened here?!

[ She had resolved not to answer before on the supposition that she needed to know more about him. (Akatsuki outfit made an alarm in her head go off.) But really, considering that this world seemed to be relatively... not so violent as their home, there had to be a good reason for this. ]

Training.

[The fact that training, from the looks of things, possibly broke his hand is probably a sign he isn't telling the truth but he recognizes that headband and is wary of a more accurate answer]

[usedrazorleaf]

[ At this answer, the girl crosses an arm and quirks a brow at the nin. Is that really all there is to it? Unsatisfied with the answer is one way to look at it, but nonetheless, she goes along with it for now. ]

You are aware that our chakra's pretty much inaccessible here, right?

[ Not that she's rejecting the idea of training, as the concept of work `til you drop's something she'd find on more than one occasion with her teammates. (And maybe pulled sometime in the past herself.) But still. ]

I know.

[He sits up but he's clearly exhausted.] Clearing my head doesn't work as well without it.

[usedrazorleaf]

[ She hesitates at first, not sure whether what she says next would apply well, but she continues nonetheless: ]

Have you tried battling with your pokémon? Sometimes there's a sort of thrill, adrenaline rush, in those.

[ Another pause. ] Your hand. Are you going to get it checked?

[usedgigadrain]

I've been training and battling with my squad every day.

[He grimaces at his hand. It's really messed up.] When I get back to the town.

[usedrazorleaf]

Guess it doesn't help then much, does it.

How far before you get there? [ If he waits too long to get it cleaned and fixed up, he could get infections. ]

[usedgigadrain]

A couple hours, maybe a little longer.

[That's if he actually moves at a decent pace and doesn't pass out again.]

[usedrazorleaf]

[ Can he risk taking it that far though...? ]

Is there anyone else with you? Like a companion to help you out?

...Besides your pokémon, I mean.

[usedgigadrain]

[A pause] ...Itachi-san followed Nuru.

[But like he'll even think about looking weak in front of his partner. ...well, at least if he passes out, he won't be completely alone.]

[usedrazorleaf]

Not sure how it works with Akatsuki, but is he going to be able to look out for you if something goes wrong? Or is it every man for himself with your group?

[ Because there are technically made up of missing-nin, who defected from their respective villages. They could do what they did to their village to their group members if need be, she thinks to herself. ]

[usedgigadrain]

He'll be able to, yes.

[Kisame looks thoughtful, clearly thinking about something] It depends on the partnership. One of the members kept killing his partners until Leader paired him up with someone he couldn't kill.

[He's pretty sure Itachi will help him, but only if it's absolutely necessary.]

[usedrazorleaf]

Good, then you'll be all right for the most part. [ A small nod, as she grew less tense at the note. He seemed to be telling the truth. ]

I see then... who might that member be? Did the other members hinder him from what he wanted to do then?

[usedgigadrain]

One of the zombie twins.

[He's not going to give an enemy more than that, and if she asks around she'll find nothing because it's his personal nickname for them.]

And no; we're rarely together as a group. It's just partners that travel together.
