[It's fairly late in the afternoon when Dash peeks into her communicator, attempting to brighten up the gray-skied day with a positively radiant grin. She looks quite pleased with herself!]
Hey, guys! Finally left that New Bark place! [She looks over her shoulder and sticks her tongue out-- a gesture apparently meant for the town she recently left.] Good riddance! That place was getting boooo-ring! Total snooze-fest, I'm tellin' ya!
Just thought you guys should know Blaze and I are heading out for Cherrygrove. It... only took us so long 'cause of all this snow! I mean, would ya look at this stuff?? [This is shown to be a very apparent lie when she turns the 'gear around to show the snow caking the ground; the Ponyta is walking in front of her, melting a pathway through the snow for its tennis shoe-wearing trainer. The real reason is Dash's inexperience with walking on two legs. Fortunately for her, she's taken to it rather quickly-- two days worth of practicing has decreased her staggering to a minimum. She's still awkward, but improving!]
I mean, uh... Yeah. But I sorta like it out here! Lots of space for training and stuff... I've always sorta liked camping anyway! [She looks up at the sky with a slight groan.] Just wish whoever controls your clouds would let the sun out just a bit. If it weren't for Blaze, I'd be freezing my hindquarters off right now!
[Blaze whinnies and shakes out her flaming mane. Apparently, melting snow isn't the only thing she's doing for Dash-- she's also carrying Dash's bag around her neck. The two... bonded quite a bit during their time in New Bark. Hey, ponies of a feather flock together? Or... something else clever...]
... It's all kinda creepy though. The clouds moving on their own like this...
[She suddenly gives a short cry of alarm, and there is the distinct sound of fluttering wings, and a few feathers scatter across the screen. A flock of Pidgey, flying off down Route 29. What a nostalgic sight it is! Dash frowns with envy. She clearly misses her wings.
She looks back to the 'gear.]
