Not dead yet
*stares* January 18th? That was the last time I updated? Good geez! I really have to get better at that. Honestly, how could I not do anything for nearly three months?
In all seriousness, though, I haven't been writing as much as I'd like to lately. When the semester first started, I thought it would be a littler easier than my previous semesters, and at the beginning I was writing stories for various things. But after spring break, the semester became increasingly difficult, and I haven't had the time to write anything. I've been busy with projects, papers, and tests, and I just get lost in all the work I should do. For the next six weeks, I'll have at least one test and/or paper to do/write, so stories might be a little lower on my list of things to get done.
That's not to say that I've been completely inactive. I've developed a lot of story ideas that I'd like to write in the future. I've gotten a few Sonic the Hedgehog stories, a few Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! stories, some Road Rovers stories, some more Harvest Moon stuff.....and lately, I've somehow gotten a little back into Static Shock. Does anyone remember that show? Anyway, I've actually gotten a few story ideas for that, too, and mybe I'll get a chance to write them someday....maybe.
Not only do I have story ideas, I've been getting pretty creative with other things too. For example, during the whole Harvest Moon obsession, I created a piece of wallpaper in honor of the very first HM game I ever played: Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life. I loved the pictures, so I wanted to put them all together, and honestly, it didn't turn out that bad.
I've also made some MVs and put them up on Youtube. The first one is a SRMTHG video about Antauri's death and rebirth, as well as Chiro and Antauri's relationship. The song I used is called "No Reply" from Cowboy Bebop, and I've always wanted to make a video about them using that song. It didn't turn out as well as I would've liked, but I'm satisfied with it.
The second one is just a Tails/Cream slideshow I made using fanart from DeviantArt. None of the fanart is mine, however, and each picture belongs to their respective artist. Still, I couldn't resist using some of the pictures, especially for the song I put in the video. It's called "Focus" from Digimon, and when I reread the English lyrics I immediately thought of those two kids.
Not bad for three months, I guess...
I'll try to update every week, just so people know how I'm doing (not that I expect people actually read this thing). But I'll try to talk more about my ideas, or maybe I'll just start posting up stories here that I've already posted on ff.net....or haven't posted on ff.net yet....We'll see.
