(no subject)
I really should update this journal more often. But honestly, the reason I haven't is because there hasn't been much going on. I work, do stuff on the computer, hang out with siblings and friends, go to bed. That's pretty much all there is in my day. *shrugs* It's not very interesting, so I haven't had much to write about here.
Maybe I should get going on that "100 Things" challenge that I signed up for. But I'm either too lazy, or I don't think anyone's really interested in the topic I chose. Just because I like these ideas for fanfics, doesn't mean other people will. But I suppose I should write another entry for the challenge...later.
Speaking of writing, I finished putting some stories on my new AO3 account. Not everything, but enough to show off all the different fandoms I am/was ever involved in, so that people over there might take a look. It's pretty cool too; because of the stories I've written, the site had to add not just one, but three new fandoms so that there would be places for my stories. So now AO3 has sections for Wild Kratts, Loonatics Unleashed, and Road Rovers because of me. Heehee.
But yeah. Even though I won't put all my old writing on AO3, I'll be putting new stuff I post there from now on, in addition to here and my FF.net account. That's a lot of places for all my crappy stuff, heheh.
Speaking of FF.net, though, has anyone tried out the new Image feature they have there? The one where you can upload images to have cover art for your story, or something to represent a forum? It's...weird. I mean, I kind of like the idea of it, but to get a good image that fits the ratio and height for the best quality, and that does the best to represent what you want the story to mean...I think that's a great thing for people who can draw and get a good idea of what image they want representing their story. But people like me, who can't draw, have to find good enough images that relate to the story. And finding said images also requires getting the necessary permission to use it, and...it's kind of a big hassle.
But since it's been implemented already, all my stories showed my Usami icon cut-off, and it looked really weird. So I ended up uploading an image and replacing it for all my stories (that's 195 right there...), just to make it look better. I'm thinking I just may end up doing that - using one image for all my stories, like the author's tag on DeviantArt. What do you think?
Anyway, that's about it for now, I guess. Maybe later I'll make one of those "100 Things" entry.
