Rock and roll, everybody, let's lose control.
First 'real' date. So it's been a minute since I've last been out to enjoy my leisure time. Ended up driving out to Clearwater and went to three bars in Saint Pete and finally ended up at a place called Enigma in Saint Pete with new friends in tow.
The first place we went to was okay. One TV had the Pittsburg Steelers playing where as the other ones had Tampa Bay Buccaneers playing (shocking but not really considering where we were at). Relaxed for a bit before heading out to this other bar which went from 0 to 60 quickly. As soon as we got in the door there was a guy in my new boyfriend's face trying to butter him up and get money from him or whatever favor and a random chick called me gorgeous and ended up hugging me. He was like, "check out this guys muscles I guess it makes sense he would go after a blonde. You two look good together you should totally have babies." Even though we were just getting there we thought it was probably best to find someplace else to spend time...
So we leave the doors of the bar and a soon as we got out of the building we saw this guy with no shirt on waving around a taser in the parking lot. This guy sounded like he was on something, not sure if it was bath salts but I kind of made fun of him and made a comment of "well, maybe if he's not careful he'll probably give himself a shock to the nuts." He walked up to some dude at the laundromat and stuck the taser at an employees face that was just getting off work and was threatening him for a cigarette. He also was looking around trying to find a police officer to fight with but he ended up leaving the property before anything came of it. We didn't stick around long enough to see if he would come back, we headed out to another place that ended up getting ready to close so we went out to another bar and they were doing karaoke. We ended up making friends with the people who organized the karaoke event, one of which ended up singing a Selena Gomez song (naturally, but seriously it was naturally). After singing "What A Wonderful World" boyfriend ended up singing with one of the other guys after the fact and then this one guy just smiled at me asking me if I was with the guy I was sitting with for the past hour or so and I nodded yes and began leaving with my beau.
After that bar closed and they packed up the karaoke stuff we ended up going to Enigma in Saint Pete. I was chilling at a table with the guy who was playing music at the other bar while our partners danced together, then got shirtless on the dance floor. Think all together that night I ended up having 10 drinks but I will say the banana cream martini at Enigma is definitely worth it. The atmosphere was fun even if there were no drag queens that night. I bought two drinks for my new friend and he was like, "that was the best night in a long time I felt special and pretty" and I told him he should feel that way because he is amazing.
When we were getting ready to leave that place there was a lady and her boyfriend at the door and I said, "you're gorgeous" and I told the boyfriend "you're a lucky man." She was like, "if you think I'm gorgeous you should kiss me" and I was like "on the cheek?" and she was like "no on the lips" mind you I am super shy sometimes, especially under certain circumstances so mark that on another thing I did as a first time thing next to bar crawling because I kissed her and her boyfriend and she ended up kissing my boyfriend, too. My boyfriend was like, "well hello." Lol.
It was a nice night even if there were crazy happenings.
