Thought McCain's was incredibly gracious and short. Obama started out strong and then got a little meandering but he's pulling us back with the 100+-year-old-woman who lived to see so much. And the sermon like "Yes we can" is bringing it back to the crowd. What did you think?

Hank Williams is still strumming on his guitar at the Biltmore Hotel at McCain headquarters... There's a no news ban at Republican headquaters ? "This is very bleak," says CNN's Anderson Cooper. Wonder if he's referring to the returns or NBC and Fox beating them to project Ohio for Obama...

Mitra here from Mint. Anil brought up the question of race a few days ago, along with a few other folks here. CNN just reported that for those who said race IS an important factor in the election, 55% voted for Obama to 44% for McCain. That means people actually voted FOR Obama because he was black. Here's something common to both the US and India this year -- the fear of rain (or lack of) and its impact on elections. We hear it's raining in Virginia, a state some think might go to Obama in a blue about-face. Is that true? How are lines there, anyone? Any other weather reports that you see affecting voting.
