We were gonna have good ol' KD for dinner this afternoon when Steve found out that the milk we just bought six days ago went bad. Yup,
allsunday, that milk we bought on the Sunday we went grocery shopping? It was already chunky and smelled so bad Steve could barely manage not to upchuck while pouring it down the drain. :P So it didn't just go bad after 6 days, it went faster than that. x_x
Anyway, Steve went down to the corner store on the second floor and bought a carton so that we could carry on with our KD. Well, when he opened it up, he found that it too had gone bad. -_-; So this time, we both went down stairs and got a refund after the guy figured out that his whole stock of milk had turned. Then we marched over to the office where, fortunately, one of the supervisors was working. When we told her that our fridge was on its last legs (milk going bad within a few days and freezer getting covered in 2 inches of ice within a week) and that no one came to look at the problem after we submitted our maintenance request form well over a month ago, she was pretty surprised. And sympathetic.
So... she said she was going to try to get one of the maintenance guys to come and take a look at it. She said that if he wasn't here today, he'd be here tomorrow at the latest. I really hope someone comes and takes a look at it by the end of tommorow, or else the office is going to see a pretty pissed off individual sometime on Monday. =_=; I'm also going to tell the guy about the problem with the pigeon shit on our balcony, as it's a pretty nasty biohazard that they need to clean. Such is the life of living in a rental dwelling. :P
