Noooo!!! Remus!!
I don't even know how to explain how I feel right now. @_@ Last night, I was talking with tarahime over AIM when I went to go put my laptop down on the little table I have for it, so I could get up. When I did, the screen flopped backwards and when it did, the other hinge popped out!! @_@
For those who don't know, a few months ago, the hinge on my laptop popped out for absolutely no reason. I couldn't get it repaired at the time because we didn't have any place that was authorized to do Apple repairs. The best option I had was to send it out to Winnipeg, which could have taken at least two weeks... and I was in the middle of my school semester so I really didn't have the time to do it.
Well, now that both hinges are broken, there's absolutely no support for the screen. It just flops around losely. I phoned the local Apple retailer and asked if they were authorized, in which they told me they were and that I had to make a reservation to see one of their Apple Geniuses. I just made an appointment online for today at 6:30pm, so I'll haul Remus along with me to work in my other bag. I hope to hell that they'll fix this problem either for free or for a very small cost. T_T I can't afford to buy a new one right now!
Well, with that in mind, I had better hurry up and pack Remus up in my bag. ^^ It feels like I'm bringing a pet to work or something. XD;;
