Most people say that Macs don't need to be defragmented at all. Even Apple says the same. It's true for the most part; the OS is pretty good at keeping small and medium sized files from getting fragmented. Well, Apple phoned me yesterday while I was at work to let me know that my laptop was ready to be picked up. :3 I was worried for a bit that it might have taken longer to do the repairs after talking with the people at the Apple Store twice and getting the same "we just recieved the part" message both times, but luckily it was done when I was told ( Read more... )

I'm not going to be online for a little while after today, since I'll be bringing in Remus for repairs tommorow. The Apple product specialist said that the people at the local Apple Store here in Toronto are most likely going to have to order in the parts required for the repairs and, if they do, they will be ordering them in from the US.
