sunday, tracibf and family went with me to costco. when we got there the urthling was fussy and tapping my chest. i got the sling and baby arranged so that i could nurse her as i went about shopping. she managed to nurse and nap a bit. at one point i thought she was done, but i was mistaken. soon after that a woman approached me and asked if i was a member of blahblah. ?? i said no, that i didn't know what it was. she took my name and email address and gave me a link to KCAP . i have been very leery of AP because of a certain individual. but following my own inclination/instincts i've been doing AP stuff. i decided to join the forum-they require an intro post-and i told how i was approached in costco. the woman, B thought i was already a member and just someone she didn't know IRL yet. then another woman said she saw me and almost approached me about KCAP as well! they both were attracted to the sling i was wearing, plus i was nursing a baby obviously older than 6 months and in public no less (i know no shame!)
this photo is from early last summer, the urthling is probably 2 weeks old in this pic. but you can see why people like the sling-thanks to my Dad-Who-Rocks, he found the fabric for mom to make the sling.
