rain and more weird dreams
i started raining last night sometime. had a little thunder about the time thebcman got up. laid in bed a long time listening to the rain on the roof. since i didn't really go back to sleep after b left for work i had a dream that aratilionkelvar and cynthiaweb got a dog! they stopped by the house and i asked what aratilionkelvar was holding and bundle of fuzzy and set it down on the porch swing. he said we got a puppy! there were two cats and the "puppy" which looked suspiciously like a cat. i don't remember if this was before or after the part of the dream that i was in the pet store playing with snakes.
being fall, the merc has an assortment of apples. since thebcman likes apples i've been trying out different varieties. the honeycrisp is pucker-tart!! despite the "honey" in the name. when i walked in yesterday i was looking at their display and started laughing. they had apple called Ida Red. the employee asked if i needed help and i said no, just laughing because there is an old timey song called Ida Red- ida red, ida red, i'm in love with ida red.....so i bought three. i thought the one i ate was very tasty...sweet with a little tartness. quite yummy. thebcman said 'looks like red delicious'. hardly!! unlike red delicious, these apples actually have FLAVOR and aren't all mealy soft. we hates red delicious. they also had some black grapes which are very good. i see this morning that thebcman snacked on them hard after i went to bed. some of them have seeds so you gotta be careful, but they are tasty!
