WoW installation
Spent the evening getting my laptop configured. Blew up after installing the virus program. Had a hell of a time troubleshooting that. Finally reverted to the last known good system restore and that fixed it. Like a dummy I installed it again - yup, the virus app was the problem. Did the system restore again and have decided to leave it alone for now.
Now on to the biggie: World of Warcraft installing started at 11:58 PM. Let's see how long this takes...
Edit: After initial install, download of the 1.10 patch, downloads of two additional minor patches, I'm finally able to log on to the game. Time check: 2:33 AM. Oy! But my goodness does the new laptop make a difference! Can't wait till I can hook up with my guildmates and start doing instances and raids! Wheeeee!
