"...then have no fear, the camera's here."
So, the Manhattan audition went well, I think. I've been having second guesses about my choice of the first audition piece. It's supposed to be a piece that really just sells you. It's not that I don't think "Stille Tranen" doesn't sell me, but I do know that most people walk into that room with their most impressive aria in the world. The Schumann shows my ability to sing long, high phrases and the chance to be very musical. Not to mention, I really love that peice. I've got Juilliard on Monday. I feel ready, I just don't know what they're going to ask for, and that's a scary thought, in a way. I'm prepared, really I am. I just want them to pick that ish that's my ish. I had to put a couple of songs on my rep list that are just filler, really. Oh well. God will definitely carry me through. If I'm meant to be here, I'm already in.
"If you are what you say you are, a superstar, then have no fear. The crowd is here and the lights are on and they want a show."
It's time.
