v for verbose

Saw 'V For Vendetta' today.
I find that the movies that I recommend most strongly are the ones that engross me completely. It's not a matter of enjoyment, in many cases; I wouldn't say that I enjoyed The New World or The Constant Gardener so much as experienced them. That said, V was engrossing, if overstylized and lacking in depth. Natalie Portman was fantastic, and maddeningly beautiful. Again, I have more thoughts about this than I can write down at the moment, but it saddens me deeply that I just, can't, believe that persecution of minorities would ever cause violent overthrow of the government by the majority. Call me a jaded cynic, if you will, just don't call me late for dinner.
