This has got to stop. People like Feinstein voted to shelve the discussion to strip the amendment allowing telecoms to illegally spy on you. Obama voted against shelving. Hillary didn't vote either way.
These businesses are guilty of invading your privacy. They should not be allowed to just be immune from their actions. They're also commiting ex post facto.
Feinstein also sponsored the bill allowing secret courts to see if lawsuits could go through.
