Frustrations Abound
Got the VGA to RGB cable in the mail today. It doesn't work. *sigh* I'm going to have to send it back and maybe exchange it for VGA to S-video, but honestly I think it's just this TV. I remember having this problem when I was trying to connect the desktop Liz gave me to this screen. It simply refused to recognize any components attached that aren't a normal DVD player or my PS2. My computer recognizes the "CRT" connection, but nothing reads on the second screen. UGHHH. I should have just put in the money into a bigger laptop when I had it, instead of a notebook. I knew the screensize would eventually start to bother me a lot, but...Sigh.
Edit: You know what? I'm not even going to bother with a VGA to S-video. I'm convinced that it simply won't work with this tv. Ah, well. Maybe when I get a job I can invest in another LCD screen.
