Fort Barrington

Fort Barrington is an Antigua and Barbuda National Park, but there is no interpretation, signage, park rangers, or even a paved road. It's not hard to get to, however, and is a fun hike.

From there we can see back to the house, which my camera managed fairly well.

The body of water to the left is a lagoon which gets some seawater from a narrow inlet; the water on the left is the bay.

The fort itself is in pretty good shape for having been built in the 1700s.

I took a flash picture of this completely dark room so that we could see if any monsters were in there.

On the descent back. You can see the little footbridge that crosses the inlet to the lagoon.
