Well, here I am in week 2 of classes. So far so good, although the work is beginning to pile up already, which is rather frightening. I'm getting into the rhythm of classes though, and I've started coming to campus earlier to go to the gym before work, which has been a wonderful thing for many reasons. I'm going to meet with the masters' swimming people to see if I can sign up for that and if the practice times work with my schedule. I really want them to. I've been swimming a couple of times so far and apart from being horribly slow, I really enjoyed it. I need someone to kick my ass though, hence the whole masters' thing.
Luckily I don't spend too much time at home because as my cousin says my roommates are a little reminiscent of the movie single white female, which I haven't seen so I don't really know. This week I've left the house before 6am every day (so far) and haven't gotten home before 10pm. I still manage to have not gotten all my reading done for class though. Don't ask me how this is possible. Anyway, I'm hoping that between today (no work) and tomorrow (no class) I can get caught up and maybe ahead so that I can enjoy the weekend.
I think my boss hates me, but am fully aware that this could be my own issues projecting themselves onto him. He did ask everyone in the office if he could fire me the other day though. I'm hoping he was joking. Still not real sure why he'd offer me the job and hire me if he didn't want me to work there. But whatever. I'm just gonna pretend it doesn't exist and hope it will go away. I find that works remarkably well.
Ok, so I guess since I planned to do work today and so far I've read 1 paper, configured my email, downloaded gossip girl, messed about on the internet to try to figure out why exactly the metro is so expensive, emailed people about the spanish club, looked up swimming info and posted this I should probably finish the reading for class this afternoon.
Ooh! or I could translate this into Spanish first! Word.
