Continuing my
list of the word "millennium" used as a kind of metaphor or exclamation: just re-watched "
Sounds and Silences", a Twilight Zone episode about a blowhard who loves noise (and I don't mean experimental music, although there's probably a couple noise scene people who would love his recordings of naval bombardments.)
In the episode, he's late for work, and his disgruntled employees are hoping for some kind of poetic justice. One employee wonders if he's driven his car off the ferry; another responds that it would be "the millennium, the ABSOLUTE millennium!" That's somewhere between "The Chaser" and "The Mind and the Matter" in usage.
