Oh what a beautiful weekend.
This past weekend D and I went over to Muskoka for my niece's wedding in Bracebridge.
Here is a picture of my niece and her new husband.
And here is a picture of D (on the right) and me with my mom.
Hard to believe that S is now in her mid-twenties. (Not sure how she aged and I didn't.) Sa met her now husband a couple years back when he was up on a work term for the summer from St.Vincent, a small island in the Caribbean. R is a wonderful young man. So full of life and love and a perfect match for S. I see many years of happiness (and a couple gorgeous babies, I hope) in their future. :-)
This was also the first time D has come over to the Muskoka area and the first time he has met most of my family. It was so nice to get them together after all these years. And he fit in just fine. It is about a five hour drive each way and we were a bit wiped out when we got back yesterday... and today. This old bod just isn't used to all that craziness anymore. Sure was fun though.
Well, I'll keep this short as I am off to bed... early morning tomorrow.
