Albatross!

My Thanksgiving weekend:

-School was alright.
-I managed to get to the poster expo that my school holds every year. Wandered around there for half an hour, which is what I usually do. I'm not one to buy much there, although I did see some nice things. A small How I Met Your Mother poster, and I saw a nice Coldplay one that I thought about getting for my brother. However, when you see a poster that says "Everything I needed to know, I learned from Monty Python"? Yeah, sorry Bro. I suppose I could have bought both, but I didn't feel like spending $18 on posters.
-The film I watched for my film class was really weird. I'm kind of hoping that the textbook will explain it to me, because I did not really understand it. It seemed to be a film about rape, which is rather straight forward but it was shot rather oddly and just hard to explain.
-Hung out with crazyvictoria, which was pretty fun. I started Leverage, which looks to be entertaining.

-A day to be proud of. My parents have the intention of, once the warm weather rolls around again, remodling our backyard, which probably deserves it. So, they got my siblings and I, plus a few friends, to form a work crew and basically clear out the backyard. Spent a good portion of the day clearing out the old raspberry patch in the back. It was actually kind of awesome, especially once I was done. The main crisis came when we found a mouse with two broken back legs, so obviously wasn't going far. Conversation went like this:
"What should we do?"
"It's in misery."
"We should kill it."
"You do it."
"No, you do it."
Eventually my dad killed it. It was unfortunate but the mouse went to a better place.
-Still, after that, sitting down to watch anime felt really good. And I got paid for all that work. More than I earn at my job.

-Today was not-so-good. I had to work. Working in a Bakery, one would assume we're pretty busy over Thanksgiving, since everyone wants bread. And that's true. Saturday's the really busy day. Sunday? Not so much because everyone's at home eating bread. I learned this last year. However, we have a bunch of new staffpeople who didn't see this coming, and so assumed that Sunday, would be just as busy as Saturday. Leaving me and my co-worker, with a frakload of bread. Took us an hour and half to get things cleaned. On a good day it can take about 40 minutes to an hour.
-Still, family party was fun. Wish I could have been in a better mood to enjoy it.

At least I get a day off tomorrow. I can sleep in.
