Umm.... someone needs their history books... now!

Ok. Seriously this will be the last post of this kind that I'll do for a while. I think I've had three within a two month span which is a little much (just a little bit), but when I see something like this... I don't know where to begin. It is just wrong on so many levels. Maybe I am just becoming a conspiracy theorist or something, color me black if you will, but I just find this wrong (just a little bit).

The fact that this is a mandatory powerpoint in some US military bases is wrong. I think I've ranted on religious freedom enough, so lets just assume I ranted about that for two full screens of text okay? What other problem do I have with this?

WTF is that? I know history isn't my major, but i'm pretty fucking sure that Darwin was not a communist. In fact, I'm pretty damn sure that he was born and died in England. I know it is easy to edit a Wikipedia entry, but come on, I'm pretty sure.

And again, I am not a science major, but I can easily debunk everything wrong here on the left. This seems very odd to me because I guess this powerpoint is supposed to imbed the idea of god, but why does this have to be done by creating loads of strawhat arguements against evolution. Actually, why in the hell do they have to even attempt to debunk evolution in the first place? Evolution is not about random chance, chaos, or entropy. The theory of evolution is simply about the idea of the survival of the fittest. That is not random.  Evolution does not bring the idea of being a self-focused ideal or a man given purpose, it is simply observations of ALL species.

Again, I've bitched about things like this for a while, but this really is not good. I don't want my kids growing up and being forced to pray in the classroom. I don't want them to be told that Darwin was a Marxist/Communist/Nazi. I don't want a president/vice president that believes the earth is 6000 years old, humans walked alongside dinosaurs, and the grand canyon was created by a 40 day flood. Most of all I don't want them to grow up in a religious nation and one that is more restrictive than any on this planet. I'm probably overstating the possibilities (just a little bit), but the possible reality of them scares me (just a little bit more).
