Frogs!
I work in Cambridge, MA by Alewife, and there's a little pond just north of Fresh Pond that I walk to sometimes at lunch. I can usually spot half a dozen frogs and sometimes a painted turtle on sunny days.

There are also some canada geese, a bunch of grackles, and some smaller birds around the pond (and a whole mess of garlic mustard).
And there are tadpoles! I'd never seen a real live tadpole before this year, and never wholly believed that there were really little legless frogs with tails before.
