I don't think Stig even knows I'm pregnant. So many people say "my dog/cat is now so protective/caring etc" Stig is the same apart from that one time before we knew I was pregnant that he stared at me. Most probably because my hormones gave me a different smell (so says google). The only thing I think he is thinking is "Mum spends an awlful lot of time in the kitchen these days. She is constantly in there". Which bodes much excitement to Stig's days with the journey from upstairs (on my bed) to trotting with urgency downstairs to see what I am into this time.

All the more shocking I expect when it arrives. Did I tell you about the times I have held other peoples babies and Stig has tried to wedge himself inbetween me and the baby? His jealous sulks. Oh man...
