dreaming of a white christmas
I found it so funny the other day when I was in the mall sending parcels I heard this obviously New Zealand song (you know the pacific groups with the real new zealand vibe) singing a song I had not heard before. It sounded very New Zealandish, and then it was singing about...snow.
Haha no wonder I was so messed up as a kid bout Christmas...
But the weather does make it. Cuddled inside with the cold outside, mulled wine, the big feast, the trees the sparkling light in dark days, spending time with your family in one heated room and the baking (the smells the smells!)
all of this is condisive to cold weather. I know we have our own vibe going on but there is something about winter christmas. I didnt want to leave the states.
