dave looks away for a minute to discover that their waitress is watching them from across the empty restaurant with a vague sense of horror on her face

agallimaufry: dave suddenly is enjoying this a lot more than he was previously.
tZM: Yeah, like, Dave was having his worries about this earlier, but now that someone is literally retching over it that's his cue to lick syrup from Terezi's nose too.
tZM: and that's why dave and terezi are banned from IHOP.
agallimaufry: no, no, it gets better than that in the IHOP. it only starts with licking syrup from her nose.
agallimaufry: because then she decides that it's a really great idea to pour syrup on him.
agallimaufry: and return the licking--because this is terezi.
tZM: So it ends with Dave totally covered in syrup and saliva, THEN kicked out of IHOP?
agallimaufry: With sticky hand prints on his prom shirt.
agallimaufry: Yes.
tZM: I'm hoping he just wore one of those t-shirts with a tuxedo printed on it.
