Katie, don't worry about those who aren't worried about you. The ones who support you, whether they believe in your choice or not are your real friends & anyone else is not. It may not feel that easy, but that's how it is. It also may take people some time to come around, but don't be hurtin' over someone who isn't hurtin' over you. Life moves on, and there WILL be people who do support you. Not everyone is open-minded, and understands like myself, & the others who support you. =)
