I can't believe summer is almost over! It's gone by so slowly, but so quickly at the same time. And now I'm scrambling to get ready for school in the fall. There are still so many things I need to do to get the apartment ready, and I also haven't even finished registering for classes yet.

These past few weeks have been filled with some adventures though! Two Fridays ago we decided to have a bonfire up in the north part of town, but we didn't go far enough into the woods and the police ended up kicking us out. The next day Allyson and I drove 4 hours to Haliburton to take my sister out to dinner and then drove 4 hours home in the same day. It was a really fun mini-road trip and I'm so glad I got to get up north for at least a little bit. Northern Ontario is really gorgoeus to drive though. And then last weekend we did a last minute camping trip and beach day at Turkey Point.

I finished reading Grapes of Wrath and even though it was slow to get into, I ended up really enjoying it. It was a very real study of humans in a time of desperation and loss. It got me pretty emotional, actually. I also read Hamlet last week and liked it as well. Although I had a bad dream because of it last night. :( Right now I'm reading Euthyphro, The Apology, Crito, and Phaedo by Plato. So much for light summer reading haha.
