Wow.
Did I really do all that stuff last night?
I remember telling poor Erica and Frat Boy "I'm so fuckin' Novalee Nation. Natalie Portman! You know? In Where the Heart Is? I'm so Novalee Nation."
I remember hating Frat Boy's new friend Matt - and Lord only knows what I said to him. I remember making big, dramatic entrances and exits. And then, of course, there was the part where I didn't stop talking.
"See, I'm FUN. I like to have a good time. I don't care what people say. I am F-U-N FUN. That's right. They don't know how to have a good time. I know how to have a good time, because I am fun."
"I'm so Novalee Nation."
"Oh my God...I'm so drunk Erica."
"He's playing my song! DJ Kyler is playing my song! You have to stay for my song. This is my song! I requested Kyle to play this song! He's playing my song. This is my song! Do you hear it?!?"
And once "my song" (Deborah Cox - Nobody's Supposed to be Here) started playing, and after I made sure everyone and their mother knew that it was "my song", let's just say there was a performance. And no, not a good stripping performance, or a break-dance performance where everybody circles you and wants to watch. More of the performance where everybody wants to turn away from you, and you feel really, really sorry for the person if you do watch. Wow. It was bad. My poor friends must have been mortified.
Wow. I must have really done all that stuff last night. Oh well. At least I don't have a hang-over.
I'm Novalee Nation.
