This is ridiculously funny. I was tempted to join in on the mockery by saying
"If I cease to be an idiot, will stupidity also cease to be?", or more simply,
"If I cease to be an idiot, will I cease to be an idiot?"
(...but that wouldn't be very nice...)
Yesterday morning I asked myself, like I usually do, 'To get out of bed, or not to get out of bed - this is the question... (etc.)'
But this time, I had a very satisfying answer: because my math modeling class is always, always, a great source of hysteria:
Professor: "I've noticed that most students don't attend my class and that the ones who do usually have better grades"
Jackass Student#1: "Your lectures are not helpful for doing the homework"
Prof: "Have you been coming to class?"
Jackass #1: "No."
*snickering*
(after class, and after Jackass #1 left, the Prof and I reenacted this scene and laughed hysterically.
what isn't soo funny, is the fact that that jackass is on my team. No wonder why he hasn't helped me code the model.
But then again, of what help could he seriously be?)
Prof: "And thus, from the diagrams, we can conclude that if f has a periodic orbit of period three, then it also has periodic orbits of all periods. Period."
Jackass #2: "Why is the last picture... the last picture?"
(#2 sits behind me and she always eats nuts in class. I almost went nuts with laughter when I heard her say that.)
