To sleep, perchance to... have nightmares?

I have been having some frightening, albeit entertaining, nightmares lately.

The first one happened a few days ago. I was living in a large house with a few other people, and we discovered that there were poisonous spiders hiding throughout the house. Huge, hairy, silver ones. It turned out that these spiders were not native to the area, which caused all of us to suspect that someone had planted them there, to kill us all off. I immediately suspected my aunt Michelle, my mother's youngest sister.

We went through the house and managed to find and destroy all of the nasty little beasts, but when we were done, I still felt somewhat unsettled. "All the spiders are gone," I remarked. "Why do I still feel so nervous?"

My aunt Michelle then stepped into the hallway, a large meat cleaver in hand and a deranged expression on her face.

"That's because I'm going to chop your heads off," she yelled, and started to run at me.

I closed the door on her and leaned against it to keep her out. The interesting thing was, I seemed to be a lot stronger than she was. Although she pounded and pushed against the door, I didn't feel a thing. At that point I ceased to be afraid- realizing that she would tire herself out eventually.

The second nightmare took place just last night. In this one, a race of intelligent androids had taken over the Earth. Most humans were hiding in underground shelters, but every now and then, a military group would go to the surface to fight the androids and rescue civilians. On one mission to the surface, it was found that the androids intended to replace all of the living creatures on the planet with mechanical ones. Several soldiers lost their lives to a herd of mechanical rhinos, and another military group attempted to eradicate a herd of mechanical horses. As time went on, the machines looked more and more like actual animals. They even started to have fur, although it never seemed to cover up all of those metallic joints.

I wonder... when a robotic horse becomes ill, does one call a veterinarian or a mechanic?
