After Friday night's entry a chance to wander around Bourbon Street for an hour or so presented itself. I brought a few scenes back from a Friday night at the Big Easy.
Tony Moran's world famous Italian restaurant is open for business. No live music as of yet, but it's on the way.
There is life on Bourbon Street. A few of the better funded establishments recovered and reopened. Sadly, not even half the businesses have come back.
The Hustler Club is alive and well. Way to go Larry.
An update on the world famous anti-looter sign
Remember the guy that painted a warning to looters on the boards over his windows? The warning read, "Don't try. I am sleeping inside with a big dog, an ugly woman, two shot guns and a claw hammer." The picture of that hand painted admonishment made world wide news.
Since then the sign in the 1300 block of St. Charles has been updated.
Dog Gumbo! :P
Good night Mrs. Whack, sleep well.
