breaking up/ is getting far away/ i used to know/ what i wanted to say
work was good today. i drove home with both front windows down and blasted the arcade fire, and it was lovely. i'm working outdoors tomorrow, which will either be awesome, or annoying. i wonder if my face/arms will get sun so i won't glow in the dark as much.
i thought about my old taurus while driving home. it didn't have air conditioning, so i used to drive with the windows down everywhere for a good six months out of the year. i had some good times in that car, too bad the transmission kept exploding. the stereo was fun and i had tons of cds that i used to blast while driving with the windows down. i need to digup "very emergency!" so that i can listen to "jersey shore" again. it's the perfect song for those days where i start driving to work, but don't want to stop until i hit long beach island.
oh well. at least i have a rock that grounds me in my left front pocket.
