and anyway, I don't think I'd be coming around here again.
I went home early today because my leg was really bothering me. Last night, after watching one tree hill I had to get something from the basement anddd from the landing after the basement stairs but before the little steps leading to the kitchen, I somehow tripped? and scraped my leg against the tile steps...yeah the wounds are not pretty and it hurts to walk so I kind of have to hobble around. Umm. I came home, took a shower, a little nap, woke up to watch Pretty in Pink, another movie that I love. And it may not be a tearjerker for MOST, but it was for me, especially when Ducky finds out about Blane at the record shop and tells Andie,
"Well, that's very nice. I'm glad. Well here's... here's the point, Andie. I'm not particularly concerned with whether or not you like me, because I live to like you and... and I can't like you anymore. So... so when you're feeling real low and... and dirty, don't look to me to pump you back up 'cause... 'cause... 'cause maybe for the first time in your life I WON'T BE THERE!"
Yup, I was pretty much reduced to tears. I felt like an idiot being all alone in my living room bawling my eyes out but it was just a natural reaction - there's just something about Ducky that just makes you feel so bad for him. Haha I don't know, I've always had a soft spot for "unrequited love" situations, I guess. I don't know what Andie was thinking but if I had someone like Ducky around I wouldn't let him out of my sight...people like that, they're kind of hard to come by. The kind that don't give up on you so easily. And it's just devastating how they're always the ones looked over and taken for granted.
Mm. Well I think I should go study for my American History test now...I don't know how I did on my Alg II test, I think it was okay but I rushed through the last half of it and had to even stay a little past the hour to finish...I need to ace that test to bring my grade back up to a stable A. Same goes for my impending test tomorrow in Hist.
Ahh seriously. I can't wait for Spring Break
