(no subject)
Kristyn and I decided to blow off our other obligations and went on a ghost town excursion to Nelson, Nevada today. Nelson has converted itself from a creepy ghost town to just a creepy town since I last visited, so we did not spend much time there, however, when we were driving down NV 165 to the river we saw ..well. There's no eloquent way to say this, so I'll just say we saw a bunch of cocks off the side of the road....

So, being that we are inquisitive creatures, we pulled off the side of the road and scrambled down the steep and stumbly hillside into this valley o' dicks to investigate.
Kristyn was so enthralled that she didn't even notice I took her picture
I named this one Mr Stubby:
Much time was spent exploring the valley o' dicks and we eventually climbed our way back to my car, sweaty, covered in dust and feeling sullied and unusual. We spent some time at the lake and decided to head home, but circled back after spotting this off the side of the road in a valley (again):
We decided to go off roading to get a closer look:
Look, a smiling oven!
