Randomness
1. I went to a party on the 4th of July, and spent nearly all afternoon in the pool. As a result my arms were terribly sore the next day. I have not swum in ages. It was a fun afternoon, though. And there was some great food.
2. Super excited for Elementry in the fall. Although I was a little disapointed to find out that Lucy Lu was John, not Sherlock. She'd have been a kickass Sherlock Holmes.
3. I still have yet to see The Avengers, Spiderman, and Brave, although I want to.
4. I think I've made my final decision about the college I want to transfer to, although oh god is it expensive. :| Wish I had a better idea of what I wanted to go into... And I love my community college so it's a pity I can't get a bachlor's degree there. A part of me thinks I should just go back there and get an associate's in computer science. It'd be cheaper. But I do need a four-year degree. Blah.
5. The Women's Tennis Association is trying to ban grunting- in women's tennis only- and, despsite the fact that I am in no way involved in tennis at all, I've been filled with inarticulate rage over how blatently sexist that is. Women apparently have to enjoy the sport quietly and delicately, and are not permited to make ~vulgar ~unladylike noises. I want to punch someone in the face. D:
6. I think I'll go find something to read... I've been mainlining The Dresden Files. They're surprisingly good. And I think I've read more books in the past two months than I have in the past two years. I've read a fuckload of fanfic, though.
And now I'm just rambling. It's too hot out (101 F). Blah.
