Hello

I went into the city for my cousin's wedding last weekend. Him and his new wife have been together for over a decade and so we've been pretty much considering her as a part of the family already for years. We got to the ceremony from the hotel on a yellow school bus. It was very surreal. I felt like I was back in high school... where everyone was randomly in formal wear. It was a pretty ceremony (although me being so short and the Catholic church being very big on doing a lot of random standing I couldn't see most of it) and the reception was held at a... I don't know exactly the way to describe it. A pawn shop? There was a lot of old junk all over the place. It was eclectic. I danced for hours and my legs were so sore by the time I went to sleep.

We stayed at a hotel (the reception was in the city, so it was a whole weekend adventure. I've never stayed in the city overnight before) on the twentieth floor and the view was gorgeous.

The next day we caught some of the Puerto Rican Day Parade (my favorite was all the motorcycles) and ate lunch outside under umbrellas because it was so ridiculously hot out.

I took the train home, which I haven't done in years. So that was an experience.

Overall, it was a lot of fun. Maybe I'll post some pictures later.
