Life
Things that I've done since my last post:
-re-watched Tangled (d'awwww). I want the soundtrack now.
-decided to participate in mini-NaNoWriMo, which is 100 word drabbles written every day of the month instead of 50,000 words by the end. I don't have the kind of time to do proper NaNo this year, so mini it is.
-so much textbook reading. oh god. I haven't really been all that interested in fun reading this semester since there's so much textbook reading to be done. :/ I miss it.
-I went apple picking with my relatives. It was my cousin's first time ever, so my aunt kept making her stop to take pictures. It has been freakishly hot here for October (80 degrees Fahrenheit when it's usually in the low 60's) and the morning we went was like summer weather. It was glorious. I picked a little over a dozen apples, got a carton of apple cider donuts, and we tailgated/picniced in the middle of the field they were using as a parking lot. It was a lot of fun.
-took an incredibly long history test. It was two hours, 75 questions, and 1 multi-paragraph essay. At the end my brain was sore. This history class I'm taking is particularly difficult because the only grades I get are this test and two others like it. There's no grade boosting busy work at all. Which wouldn't be too bad if I didn't suck at testing. I got my grade back today and I got a B overall, so that's pretty good. I doubt I'll get an A in the class, though. :/
-plotted out an circus!AU of an original sci-fi canon I haven't even written yet. :l Fandom has destroyed my brain.
As a result of being busy lately and also a little apathetic, I am super behind on all my tv shows. Supernatural, Community, Castle, Vampire Diaries, Sanctuary... luckily hulu/the cw should have them all. The one year I try to actually watch tv when it airs, I completely fail. At least I'm up to date on Psych and the Big Bang Theory?
