LJ are you really back!?
I tried to post a few days ago, but I couldn't and it was late and I was tired so I just went to bed. :/
I saved the post, though:
I'm finally finished with my summer class! Took the final, turned in my drawing, and got my grades in. Now I have three and a half weeks to enjoy my summer vacation before fall semester starts. I'm taking a fiction class in the fall and there are a handful of books I need to read: Nine Stories by Salinger (which I'm halfway through now and already did an paper on one of the short stories before, so I feel pretty set with that one), For One More Day by Ablom, and Ethan Frome by Whatron. Anybody read them?
It's thunderstorming outside right now (or was, when I typed this) pretty badly. All summer there's been no rain at all and then this past week there's been horrible thunder-and-lightning storms right when I'm going to sleep. It's hard to try and fall asleep when it's so bright and noisy outside. :/

I rented an e-reader from the library to get a feel for it (I'm thinking of getting one for my birthday) and I ended up reading an Anita Blake novella. Don't judge; it was short and entertaining in that I'm-laughing-because-it's-so-bad kind of way. She just kept getting more and more powers and more and more boyfriends. It was fun (when I wasn't facepalming) in a brain candy way.
Does any of you have an e-reader? Do you like it? What's the best kind to get?
